The iConnects extender sets consist of a transmitter and receiver pair. HDMI signals are input into the transmitter and HDBaseT technology is used to transmit Video, Digital Audio, and  Control signals to the receiver via a Cat5e/Cat6 cable. The extender sets also supportsPoC (POH), which can be used to power the receiver via the Cat5e/Cat6 cable, eliminating the need for power at the receiver end.
